Their bodies designed with wisdom. For generations, birth was supported by a womans village. Her trusted sisters. Grounded in intuition, presence and trust in the natural process.  Yet, as society has become increasingly medicalized. We have moved away from traditional practices. Birth is often viewed as a condition to manage, rather than a physiological process to respect and facilitate. In focusing so heavily on technology and intervention, we've lost touch with the art of holding space, offering continuous support and honoring the emotional and physical journey of labor. It's time to reclaim balance, to blend the best of modern medicine with the deep rooted knowledge of what it truly means to support a woman while she gives birth.
